Breaking Away's primary goal is to provide fast, affordable, and high quality service to all of our customers. Our specialty is bicycle painting through a method called powder coating - a fast, strong, and environmentally safe method of painting your bicycle.

As avid cyclists ourselves, we know that the details of a bike are important. We've spent countless hours customizing our own bikes and would like to use our knowledge and experience to help you create your own ideal bike. There are many ways we can do this - from finding and installing the specific parts you want, to giving your bicycle a beautiful new paint job, to custom fitting.

We stand behind our work and encourage customers to ask questions and for help. We believe strongly that if a customer is not happy, then we too will suffer in the long run. Because we are a small Ottawa business, we ask that our customers call ahead to book appointments with us and to quickly pick up your bike when servicing is done, due to limited space.
